    PB blaster explosion

How flammable is PB blaster? Im parting out my 325is in Poughkeepsie and i've removed 3 of the 4 nuts which are holding the muffler on. The last one is extremely stubborn and if it doesent come off in a few ours im planning on dremeling it off. Will the PB and sparks ignite or should I be safe.

Also, im working on taking off te fan on the front of the engine, the AC unit is in the way. Whats the best way to remove it without spraying carcinogen all over the garage?

Pull the compressor, receiver dryer and condenser with hoses and leave the system sealed. You will have to vent it somewhere once you get to the evaporator core assy or just do not part this system out of the shell.

re: PB Blaster - I wouldn't worry about it.

I remember times when I soaked down a nut or bolt (w/ PB) - waited a few minuets - then hit it with a torch. Yeah- it's flamable - but I highly doubt you'll cause an explosion.

A nut splitter (e.g., http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...70_34573_34573) makes short work of stubborn nuts. I prefer the open sided type as they'll work in close quarters, bust most of the time the sort shown above will work.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
