      M20 oil filter : Part # : 11 42 1 266 773

      M10 oil filter : Part # : 11 42 1 278 059

Don't seem to be the same. Did you try canadian tire, they may have the filter you are looking for

Canadian Tire does have the filter for the m10 but it has to be ordered most of the time and its a fram so you might as well just get it from the dealer

Lakeside would have had it in stock. I never go to the dealer for E30 parts anymore, they dont bother stocking them.

Just order one from AMS. Then you only have to change it once per year. That's what I did because the only M10 ones I can get locally are Fram (read: not putting that in my car).
