    What's hot for E30's?

Came from E36's, don't know any of the tricks for E30's.

I'm picking up an eta tomorrow and looking at an M50 and an M52 on Sunday. I'm building a daily driver, it won't see track/auto-x, just highways/twisties/surface streets.

The only things I have planned out right now is the motor swap, gc c/o conversion kit, some decent wheels, SS brake lines...I need more things to plan

I'm looking for stuff that get's swapped from other bimmers, steering racks, sway bars, 'is bumpers, small things like shifters, window switches.
What diff should I be on the prowl for.
What bushings should be upgraded to delrin, which are good to just put OEM in.
What flaws are there that will need addressing? (ie. subframe reinforcements?)
Are houndstooth interiors hard to find?
What's a good DD brake setup? OEM blanks/brand name pads
Anything else you guys know, that I missed :)

you should just search and read other peoples build threads. lots of info here you just need to be willing to put some time into finding it. then if you still can not find it just let us know.

e36 window switches will fit in an e30 along with almost every other part. just depends on how good you are at fabing. try the diy section for projects...

Just because you ask does not mean we are gonna make it easy. Just use the search function. All those questions have been answered.

Also, take the time to read the 60+ page 24v Swap Thread, lots of good knowledge in there.

'is bumpers----check the bumpers thread, basically its euro bumpers for <88, plastics for 88+
shifters----check the short shifter thread, various z3 and z4 levers are popular.
              window switches----why?
What diff should I be on the prowl for----- if you have an eta, 3.25lsd is probably the best. if you have an "i", 3.73lsd or 4.10lsd.
What bushings should be upgraded to delrin, which are good to just put OEM in---- thats up to you. if its just DD, id probably do almost all OEM rubber.
What flaws are there that will need addressing? thats a broad question. nothing huge. just change the timing belt.
Are houndstooth interiors hard to find? broad question. good condition full houndstooth sport seat interior? sort of.
What's a good DD brake setup? OEM blanks/brand name pads---- OEM blanks yes, and Hawk pads are a popular brand.
i tried to help you out a little bit there. just lurk around and youll figure it all out.
