help. (wiper problems)

hey guys, i had a problem with my wiper transmission,one of the rods was broken so i got a new one.

put it in, no problems or anything but when my freind and i went to go try it out for the first time, they were parked in the spot i wanted do, but they were swiping downwards causing them to go under the bottom weather stripping . it was just bad.

so we figured out, that the rod that was connected to the motor needed to be swiveled.

so we adjusted it to where i wanted them to be parked, and how far i wanted to swipe. so after a little while it started swiping downwards from the position they parked.

fixed it, and now they have to be parked like in the image below to get the full swipe and not to overswipe.

what should i do?sorry guys, im bad at describing the scenario... idk if the bolt keeps coming lose or what. but let me know what you think... thanks.

Looks as though the bracket that is mounted to the wiper motor isn't in the right spot.

You'll need to unbolt it from the wiper motor turn the motor on so it does a full cycle and put the bracket back on in the position that will be the park position.

If you've been removing that bracket and putting back on the motor without cycling the motor before hand it probably isn't in the parked position which will have you chasing your tail.
