What cars had the different motronics (i.e 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3) and what are the diffeences in them, and what ecu numbers were associated with teh versions? Thanks.

Early 318s are L-jetronice.
Early Eta cars and M3s are motronic 1.0. This is a full motronic style AFM fuel control and single coil ingnition control system with O2 sensor, but no check engine light or diagnostics yet.
1988 Super Etas are 1.1 as described below.
325i cars started with Mot 1.1 in '87 and were upgraded to 1.3 in late '88. This is similar to 1.0 but it adds check engine light abilities and some slight adaptations for the idle control. 1.1 has 4 fault codes it can store, 1.3 has about a dozen.
Late 318 cars with M42 engine are 1.7. This adds multi coil ignition system to the abilites of 1.3.Adam Fogg- '88 M3

The 1.1 and 1.3 computers are physically put together differently too, word on the street is that the 1.3s are more reliable. Some say that the 1.3s idle better too, but there's no real evidence to support this.Adam Fogg- '88 M3
