Kinda curious about this myself. The 85' 325e used a cast crank, the 318 had a forged steel crank. Is there a M20 Forged steel crank lurking in a different model?

But then again if your where going that far, do the M50 swap. Although I don't have specs
on that crank but I assume its forged.

Anyone got specifics on this :?:

The eta and super eta crank are the same cast cranks
The i crank is also cast...
I use a eta crank in my stroker with Nitrous and i have had no problems reving it up to 7000 rpm....

              Just loving it.....

You can get away with the eta crank, but if you can scrounge the $$ then try to go with the forged TD.
