    chassis ground locations

did the search and couldn't get a hit
anyone know the locations for the chassis grounds?

specific problem is intermittent fuel pump operation and we're just trying to chase down all suspects.

    thanks

    BTW - 1991 325ix which i assume is the same as a 325i

sorry I don't have anything to say about the grounds

but the intermittent fuel pump issues I've seem stem from flaky FP relays. Not sure if that's your problem, or if you've ruled it out or not. If you haven't yet, check into it.

    good luck either way

There are a number of chassis ground locations. The ones of interest in this case are the DME ground on the right shock tower, and the fuel pump & sensor ground under the rear seat on the left side of the car. And, of course, the main battery ground.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
