puddles could also be from the power steering hoses cracking.Renting my rear wheel bearing tool kit. SIR

heh, well i am leaking PS fluid, i know this, but heres the deal.
i just replaced my REAR shock mounts (they were TOTALLY busted) and that got rid of the annoying chirping noise coming from rear.
but, a deeper souding rattling noise now comes from "sounds" from the front drivers side area. when ever i put on brakes, or go over a bump.. i checked the shock mount, it "appeared" to be ok, in that i mean it was all still one piece (unlike my recent rears)
anyway. i lifted it up on one of the lifts at bmw (i am a porter there) checked all the suspension sutff, had a mechanic do it with me, everything in front was nice and stiff, he suggested i needed a new steering rack (or re-mani) my steering is kinda tight (nice) when i turn right, and it feels lose when i turn left. but the reason i am questioning the fact of it being steering is, that noise never happens when i JUST turn the wheels.....</img>
