Instrument Cluster

Hey,

I have an 85 e30 that i have been having troubles with the instrument cluster. I will be driving along and the speedo will stop working, but as soon as i reach behind the cluster and pull on the wires coming from the plug behind the speedo it will start working again till i hit a bump or something. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas ??

my guess would try re-soldering the connectors that are on the cluster board. and if you haven't already, change the SI batteries and bulbs while you've got the thing open.
