    M20 Valve Size Conversion

    ok, 85 325e M20.

Can the original 325e cylinder head be machined to accept the larger 325i valves?

    85' 325e Int. 40mm Exh. 34mm
    12/86 325e 87-91 325i Int. 42mm Exh. 36mm

I can't imagine it would be too difficult to open up the valve seats +2mm.

Thats about $130 in parts for the valves. I don't know about machining costs, another $100?

How much is a used 325i cyl. head?

uhh just put on the 325i cylinder head...and then whatever else you have to do to make a 2.7...boring out the seats and such on the E cylinder head is a severe waste of money.
