Help replacing fender

Anybody ever replaced a rear fender before... any advice on welding points and/or how to remove fender?

i replaced the driver side quarter (rear fender) panel on my bmw. the summer before i had done full rear quarters on my 69 camaro. that was my first time to replaced a full panel, i took my time, about a month per side, and they came out great. for my bmw i went to a junk yard and cut off a quarter panel from a car, cut out the damaged sheet metal on my car, trimmed the replacement to fit and welded it on, using many tack welds. like jordan said, if you have no experience with welding/fabricating then this is not the kind of project that you would want to start on. you can easily get way in over your head, and end up with a car with a huge hole in the side.

ill second that approach, you can burn large holes in sheet metal especialy on new cars with thinner sheet metal, and it will suck if and when you do so if you arn't an experienced welder.
