    yellow coating all over my engine bay?

    ok so there is this weird yellow coating everywhere in my engine compartment . all over my valve cover, intake mani.. every clamp,wire,and strut towers...
    it does scrub off, but it takes serious elbow grease... i can scratch my finder nail through it and it reveals my fresh alpine white under neath...

    anyone no what it might be.. ???
