    strange shaking at 50-60 MPH

I don't know what it is... my car suddenly is shaking when I drive from 50 to 60 MPH

    I don't feel the shake when I pass 60 up to 70 or 75

the odd thing is that when I brake, the shake stops

    what can it be?

How're your tie rods and control arm ball joints? Are your wheels and tires balanced?

I feel the shake in driver's side wheel... also the steering wheel shakes

can an umbalanced wheel stop shaking when I press the brake pedal?

unlikley but it could because your slowing down, take it off and get it balanced its only like 5 bucks or depending on where you go it could even be free... its worth a shot.
