Door locks

I know this topic has been beaten to death but maybe you can still help me.

The locks on the car have been acting up for a while. You had to do speical things to get doors to lock and open, kinda hard to explain. But heres the main problem right now. The front passenger side and rear drivers side doors wont open.

I know on the one the lock is down and wont come up, but on the other I cant remember. They just wont open from inside or outside.

I'm going to have to take off the door panels right? Will it be easy to determine what needs to be replaced once I get inside the door.

One more thing. Any tips on how to pry out the window strip moldings? I tried it one day and completly failed, would it make a difference if I unscrew the door handles/map pockets before hand?

The map pocket it screwed into the door panel from the other side. Maybe it's best to take the whole door panel off; it's not hard.

Mines almost the exact opposite - it's only the driver's door... it won't close without doing something "special". There's a technique to it, but not sure I know what it is yet - I just seem to get lucky every now and then. Plus the door would NEVER lock from the inside. And I've got no central locking in my car...

I'm having the same problem on my two door. Since I bought the car, the locks never automatically both locked or unlocked when I used the key. About 1 week ago the driver side just stopped working and it won't open at all now. I have the panel off, but I havne't had time to pull the rest apart. I really hope it isn't anything expensive, i'm already broke.

If you find what is broke just post a WTB and someone will probably have the part from a parts car. If your lucky all you'll have to do is clean the motor or w/e it is.

mine also the same thing. Once the door lock, it's jam. Won't open. After some driving, it will be normal again.

Suspect is the central lock unit which is not functioning properly. But there is a sound coming from the back. Is there a unit that manage the central lock from the behind hood.
