Pics of battery mounted in trunk please

I am getting ready to move my battery to the trunk of my cab and I am looking for pics of the battery sitting in place and how the wires run from the factory, any help would be appreciated...
    Thanks,

Dude, I spent a bunch of time trying to figure that one out.

the issue is the route from underhood to the trunk. The stock wire run is covered by a welded in plate, meaning you will have a hell of a lump of wire running under your carpet on the left.

The power wires a run from the firewall connector block in the channel under the door sills then through the rear bulkhead to the battery.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Exactly, but 'verts have a plate welded in the entire length of the sill, so you cannot run wires there.

That makes sense since a 'vert needs the battery up front for weight balance.

I always see people saying that the verts got the battery under the hood for weight balance... but if that's the case, then why did BMW put a big cast iron weight in the trunk of the verts where the battery would have been?

as far as I know the verts and the early 318s are the only ones with the battery under the hood. not sure about the late model 318s.

I can't remember if the M42 car has it in front or not...

That door sill plate was welded on for strength, so the weight had to be added back there.

that weight isn't just a lump of metal, it has a harmonic reduction function too.

Here is that welded panel (shown with my assistant):
