You can install one on any car, wiring and tuning is required so a 325i requires the same amount of work to install as a 318is.

I have a friend that has one on a Ford Escort ZX3. It's pretty sweet, he said he loves it, and the gains were pretty noticeable. He's hoping to dyno it next month.

a controlled air/fuel ratio. that is tunable. i think this + adjust my cams, i should get the mos out of my m42!

I think Jay said he picked up ~7whp from dyno tuning with the SAFC and JC chip. Still a weak ass motor, but whatever.

I don't think it makes any sense to have a controller like this and NOT tune it on the dyno exclusively. What did he do, tear up and down indutrial roads while messing around with it?

Its kind of a different topic but it doesnt seem like individual tb's would be that hard to do on the m42. I think the air box would be the hardesrt unless im overlooking soemthing. It probably wouldnt gain any but it would have better responce especialy combined with a flywheel chip and cam tuning

it would just need somethign like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=35597

except with out all the shit attached cause the fuel rail is already a seperate part on the m42. Tb should just need to be adapted to that then an airbox or manifold made to run it the a afm
