    Tail Light Issues

My driver's side tail light keeps burning out. None of the other bulbs on either side have any problems. It burns out about once a month for the past several months. It seems to happen after a hard rain, which makes me think about the seal, but it's never wet in there, and it doesn't happen every time it rains or I wash the car.

I've replaced the bulb with different brands and also replaced the fuse with a new one just for good measure.

Any ideas? It happened again this morning and irritated me, so I'm probably gonna open up the tail light assembly and see if I can see any obvious problems. I dont have a spare. Bad idea?

    Thanks in advance guys

The same happened to me but that was because there was water in there, I would just make sure there is no water getting in there first before moving on to anything electrical.

well, as i remembered, the clips break super easy on the tail light assembly, plus there's really not much hidden under there anyway. i'm gonna just replace the tail light seals and hopefully that solves it.

seems as good a place as any to start. Also make sure that the contacts are clean, so you arent drawing too much amperage.
