    Trying to open ECU case

I am trying to follow instructions on how to install an aftermarket ECU

    These ones here

    http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/tech...ip_install.htm

I have got to the stage where i have pried back the small metal tabs but there is also 4 of these weird lookings screw/bolts on either side which are stopping me from opening the ECU casing

Here are some pics, how can i get these bolts out ? Do i need a special screwdriver or something

They are like star shaped with 6 apexs, not very clear in the pic

I'm not actually trying to change my chip just yet, just want to make sure i dont already have an aftermarket one before i buy one, but the tabs look like they havn't been pried back before

    Thanks
    Mitch

you can also get a screw driver that'l fit a big star should also be able to get them loose they arn't that tight but if its starting to slip go get the right one

yeah that should do the trick or you could go to your local tool store with the unit and buy the 2 dollar screw driver that fits right in... its up to you tho
