I swapped in a spare 3.0bar FPR tonight. Went out and drove it. Still does it a little, but ALOT less then it did.

4th pulled to redline, far beyond where it just stopped dead before.

    hit 138MPH indicated tonight

    Still isn't 100% though. :|

it really sounds like your fuel presure isn't gettup up high enough to pump enough gas into the engine put a clamp on the fuel return line and see if it will rev up past 6 grand.

I can't believe this, what a pain in the ass. Good luck, Jordan. I hope you'll reconsider not coming to the meet if you can't get it fixed.

I'm telling you... find someone local and swap ECUs... DSMs like my car are notorious for exhibiting similar problems due to bad caps, etc. on the ECU's board. Try another known good computer and see if it goes away.

So I tested and cleaned the TPS.
    Checked the AFM, looks fine.
Looked for air leaks, and probed for leaks with propane. No leaks found.
Removed, checked, and cleaned spark plugs.

    Problem unchanged. :(

Its not ECU. This sounds like the exact same problem I have. It started out doing it on occasion and then got so it did it all the time. I swapped out the ECU and reset it and no dice.

Jordan, to be honest, I know I don't have nearly the technical expertise as you, but it sounds to me like an ECU / chip problem. If it is in fact just plain cutting out at 6k, that's at least what it sounds like to me. I could be and probably are totally off, though.

I hope you get it fixed.

I have a spare coil, so I am going to switch that out as well if what I've done tonight solves nothing.

I took the spark plugs out, all of them look to be good, working well in there heat range and all that jazz... but what do I know.

Pics of the spark plugs #6 on left >>>> #1 on right.

I dunno, but maybe check you fuel hose in tank pump if you are runing an aftermarket one.

I had a problem with the hose and was doing cut off's, but oh well seems is not you r problem.

Maybe your coil? Cap? or maybe the Chip?
