    Cabrio Hardtop Vinyl Adhesive Question

I have a hardtop that has the black fabric material on the outside (I assumed it was vinyl, correct me if I am wrong) that is starting to loose adhesion in a couple of places. Has anyone tried injecting glue between the layers and sticking it that way, or any other way that someone may have tried. If no one knows, I may have to try and report back, is there any reason that I shouldn't do this?

it is canvas. give it a try, just use a good heat resistant glue as it will get very hot in the sun.

i don't know about the outside, but mine has a few spots on the sides (outside) that has the same issue.

the interior, was drooping, and i just opened up one of the micro holes just enough for a (3m aerosol glue) straw, and sealed that up nicely.

i would recomend a syringe and some kind of epoxy (if thats possible)
