what bulb to use for foglights?

One of my foglight bulbs is shot, so I would like to replace both normal bulbs with yellow ones. What actually bulb (part number) is the bulb? And where can I buy some quality yellow bulbs to put in? Thanks, George

late model ones are H3, not sure about earlier ones. Nice yellow bulbs are candlepower from http://www.suvlights.com , they are apparently identical to the overpriced PIAA ones I have.

I ordered a set of candlepower as well for spares.

Too bad I got a set of French foglights on the way and won't need them!

in my 87 325is i replaced one of the bulbs with an advanced autoparts bulb... and it didnt fit, so i had to go with what the dealer had to offer.
