Anyone know if you can swap the heated seat parts from an "ix" w/comfort seats to the sport seats? Edit: Different part #'s on realoem, just wondering if it's possible without significant mods...

The sport seat heaters are long ribbons of elements. They go between the outer leather and the first layer of padding, and you have to cut slits in the padding to install them...so I am gonna guess not even close.

yes you can but it's a real PITA!!!! you'll need to remove the fabric or leather first and beneath it will be the heat strips with the wiring and connector. then you'll also need "hog rings" and a special pliers to squeeze them shut. we used to do these quite a bit back in the day.
