e30 Drivers door lock assembly

I think my lock assembly is F***'d. can close all locks from drivers side and cannot open from there. Can lock and open from passenger side and trunk as well. I disconnected and replaced the actuator and module to see if this was the problem. once disconnected I can't seem to open or lock the drivers door from inside. the push pin won't go down.

anyone have this problem before?

otherwise does anyone have a spare kicking around?
