Recommended fluids?

I'm slowly working on my 84 318i and I think I'm getting pretty close to having it on the roads. It really could use an oil/trans/diff fluid change though. What fluids are recommended?

I don't think I'll bother with synthetic engine oil because I'm quite sure it hasn't had it before, and I'm thinking I'll ditch the M10 this winter anyway.

What they said. Also, I always use the BMW coolant; best to prevent buildup in the cooling system.

What weight oil would you recommend? I personally prefer Mobil 1 over anything else, but I guess it doesn't matter as much witch conventional oils.
