    radiator SHOULD work right...

ok, now i'm sure by the end of the post, ur either going to have called me an idiot, or be laughing.. but...

a friend of mine just got an 85 318 (don;'t look that bad for 500 bucks) only thing, radiator needs reaplacing.. NOW....

i have a spare radiator from an 83 528e.. (m20 radiator) i noticed right off bat, that
    1. his radiator did not have an overfill resovior, and
    2. it was alot smaller..

now, if u haven;t guess it, since he is totally broke, and he really needs a car (his dad is giving away his truck to his sister..) a radiator is a radiator right? i mean i know "its not going to fit", but i can work with it ( :) ) other then the size difference, it should work right?
(i think it will, just wanted a few other opinons)

just find a used one for 50-100 and throw it in.

Or F* with the one you have.
