    Conn. Rod seperation from Piston?

I have been looking everywhere and I can't find any info on how to seperate the conn. rod from the piston. I just removed mine from my m20b27 block, and I'm having trouble getting the rods by themselves. If any1 can give me advice about how to go about doing this I will appreciate it.

Press the wrist pins out and the rod will drop free.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanx for the advice. I actually was able to remove one of the clips from one side of the wrist pins. Then I proceeded to push on the wrist pin but it won't budge.

That's why he said press it out, as in use a hydraulic press to get it out. It won't come out by hand. Try a local automotive machine shop.

You can use a few sockets or tubes and a vice to push it out if you don't have anyone local that will do it.
