what fits?

I'm looking to get some new wheels for my 318i. I was thinking 16's, 8 inches wide in the back and 7 in the front. Will it fit? Can I go wider or will they rub?

Depends on the tire you choose in the rear. If you go 225's they'll need to be rolled for sure. What suspension are you using? How low are you//planning to go? pics might help.

I'm not very knowledgeable on this stuff but I'd imagine if you provided the info I asked for it could help someone else advise you a lil better. Just search around and look at other people's pictures.

I'm currently on H&R's but I'll likely get the ground control coilover conversion kit. It's not really very low right now and I'd like to get rid of the fender gap. Its on 15's now and I'm thinking if I get 16's, I won't have to dump it as low to get the stance I'm looking for.

anyone else have any input on this? How wide can I run in the back without rubbing?
