Rear windows inoperable

I have a 4 door and when I got the car one rear window worked sometimes and the other never. I switched window switches thinking this might be the problem. Nothing changed.

Has anyone had experience with this?

Suggestions would be helpful.

Take a look at the door harnesses they can get corroded.

upate:update: So I pulled the accordion back on both doors and found the plastic sheathing on the heavy wires was broken exposing the wire. But they weren't broken. I decided to by pass the wiring and go directly to the window motors. Both work when I connect direct power. So motors work. I had both windows working from the main switches. Then the right motor stopped. Went back to jump it and wouldn't budge. the motor got really hot. Left side also worked until I started making it work from the back door switch. Also stopped.

Does anyone know what it could be?
