    Clutch problems

    I have an 88 325 is, 260 k on the clock.
Lately the clutch has had trouble grabbing, it has a lot of dead points in the beginning. I'm thinking it just needs a new slave cylinder, I just want to see what you guys think.
Has anyone else had this problem, what did you replace to get it grabbing well again.

A failing slave (or master) cylinder might prevent the clutch from disengaging, but it won't stop the clutch from engaging. A clutch that isn't grabbing is a clutch that needs to be replaced.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
