    AC comp.blue button doesnt turn on..

    I need help please. My ac was working fine and all of a sudden now when i went to turn it on the blue comp. light doesnt come on. I checked the 30 amp fuse and was fine. Is there another electrical part i need to check. Please help,its an oven in miami.. Thanks...

          No, the compressor doesnt come on. I thought of the light being out but no. I just dont know electrically if there is anything else to look for. Electrical is not my forte. And this happened from one day to the next. Thanks...

            Try replacing the switch first before doing anything else if you alreayd checked the fuse.

              You don't list what year model you have, but I know that on earlier model E30's (possibly pre '88 models) the center vent slider has to be all the way over to the right side before it will engage a microswitch and let the compressor engage. If your car is later than an '87 this probably doesn't pertain to you, but it is something to check first.
