    Gas pedal fit

    Hi Guys,

Am I crazy, or does this gas pedal from an 88 325i not fit properly in my 90 325is? The bottom on the pedal has 2 clips. The metal bracket in the car three holes that don't line up. Both look like "male" attachments that would fit into a slot.

I can't seem to find the bottom part from the original part, so I can't compare.

    Thanks.

Doesn't look like any of the 4 pedals i've replaced. Just push it down on there and see if it fits, then if it doesn't, yank it off. They are like 47$ new from pelican and other places.

      $47???

It slips down in there but it doesn't lock or anything. Just kind of slides around. It definitely doesn't fit.

I don't get it because the ETK shows the same pedal for all E30's 88 and up. 35411156488

      Oh well.

Yeah the price sucks, but what are you going to do? Drive around just using the rod?

The original one broke at the bottom. The part where it connects to the base broke (the part that bends/folds when you step on the gas.)

I still don't think they're $47, but I'm too lazy to call Pacific BMW to ask. realoem.com says $16.

The current one is useable. It sits in the bottom, but it slides around a bit. I'm still confused why it didn't fit when realoem.com says it's the same part number.
