i need to know the distance between the gas tank and the driveshaft

i just want approximately the distance... if it's 1/4 inch,1/2 inch or one inch

Approximate distance is probably close to an inch. I can just get my finger tips between the tank an drive shaft on my Spec E30 and I dropped the tank about 3/8" to make room for a transfer pump mod.
