Possible short in door wiring to prevent central locking from working?

My central locking does not work but it does. When I fool around with the wire loom going to the drivers door (the part that goes into the plastic from inside the car) I hear the relay click. When I'm driving sometimes my locks will just all of a sudden lock themselves especially when I'm hitting the brake. Anyways just curious if any of you ever fixed a problem like this?

That sounds like chaffed wires. It could be within the protective boot or inside the door. You'll have to get access to the wiring to find and fix the problem.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I figured but how do I access the wires? It looks like they go through a plastic piece at the door frame of the car. Is that supposed to be able to come out because its being a huge pain?

That plus is easily removable, and easy to reinstall. The plug has 2 tabs you squeeze in, the jack (car side) has 4 little tabs that hold it, but are easily breakable.

You most likely have corroded pins in the door plug.(plastic plug going into the body behind the rubber boot) 2 tabs push in but you gotta give it a tug to pull it out. it's a tight fit. check the pin connections for corrosion. if they are bad you need to cut and crimp new pins on. it could be either from the door side or body side or both. if they male side is bad then most likely the female side is also which needs to be addressed from behind the speaker panel. I had to redo both the door harness and body side on my e30 once. What a pain it was but it worked. you need a special tool to remove the pins from both sides. and then a crimping tool and new push pins which dealership has.
make sure you get the correct size.
Use contact cleaner first and then apply dielectric grease to keep further moisture and corrosion out.
