as the topic says, i have a spare flywheel i want to get lightened, its from an e30 m3 though, will it bolt up to my m20 and getrag 260? i believe it's the same except the magnets in it or whatever. anyone know? thanks,
i'm not positive about this at all.. but i don't think so. The m3 setup is different.... generally speaking.. if its for an s14 engine, that's about all it will work on/with... very specific parts
Going by the ETK, no... but that doesn't speak for the experimenters out there.

No it will not work! Dont even try it.I had an experience with this about a year ago when I ordered my Alu flywheel for my m20 b25 but they sent one for an s14.I kept removing and reinstalling everything 4 times before I figured out what was wrong. It is the exact same diameter but it is a about 1/4 inch thicker thus not enabling clutch to fully disengage. Also the # of teeth are different/different size so they will start the car but keep hitting the starter. Also the S14 has a trigger on the fly as well.
