A/C works but not cold

I have a 89 325i and my air conditioning works but does not pump cold but the heater works perfectly great. Should i go for a recharge or do i have to replace anything?

I'm sure it just needs recharged but I would listen for leaks when you recharge it as well.

You will need to buy some knockoff refrigerant from ebay, Freeze12 or something. And a conversion kit for the fittings. Nobody fills the old stuff anymore unless you go to Mexico.
