My car has 2 fuel pumps but I don't have the connector for the external one in my wiring loom. Do you know if I will still get fuel if the external fuel pump does not get power? Or do I have to actually bypass it. I upgraded the in-tank one to a high flow version so I don't actually need the external one now.

If you replaced the in-tank transfer pump with one from a late production 318is, you can remove the external high pressure pump.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
