13 pin OBC lamp or LED replacements?

I've searched the general and tech section back 20 pages and can not find the article on replacing the OBC 13 pin on a 87 325is as the lamps are burnt out.
I ran across in the past a LED converson article but no luck finding it again. Anyone with this LED conversion would ber a great help as i'm held up from assembly and running by this one item. Many thanks in advance guys.
    Jah bless! :pimp:

    LED OBC Conversion

It's easy and means you never have to do it again. Just did it on my vert and pulling that OBC sucks. Not hard, just crazy tedious. Glad I'll never have to do it again.

I ended up using spare instrument cluster 1.2 CP 12 volt lamps.
First I had to trim the spot welded metal on the lamp
leads so that they can fit thru the old lamp lead holes in the PC
board, these must be slightly enlongated. Then I cut scraped away
the PC feed lines on the board leaving inly the soldering spots were
the leads go thru the PC board. I used 26 gauge computer wire to
wire the lamps in parallel vs the goofy series wiring BMW uses allowing
one lamp burnt out killing the circuit. Damn blockheads over engineer one
thing then drop the ball adding a POS idea like this series light wiring in this OBC. This increased the lighting output by a vast amount and only took 15 minutes with at home parts. I didn't want to go the Radio Shack
LED route this time but later should need be.
Now the OBC can be seen in the daytime. I couldn't wait for
Mouser Electronis of others for the GE 7328 replacement lamps, one company wants $1.21, another $1.15 each. The $6.95 posted price for two GE 7328 lamps is way overpriced JMO. They are 1.2 CP, draw 0.20 amps each. I get a reading of 6.5 ohms on a goodOEM lamp which is far and few between from my Pick N Pull' collection.
For now this will get me together again until I go the LED route as i'm tight for time. I was planning on replacing each OEM lamp with two LED's for four LED's of lighting, this i'll add to my spare PC strips.
