Ok so I'm driving back hoem for spring break from San Antonio I'm like 45 min from hoem and i fill up on gas coem I'm almost on E(or R howeevr you wanna say it). I have my stereo up loud so I can't really here the engine but after driving for 10 or 15 minutes I notice that my car wont go any faster then 90 and I had eben crusing above that earlier. I also notice the car feels like its surging with power and kinda bogging down. Well I stopped and the car was misfiring and running really rich because it smelled bad of gas. I checked my cap and rotor and it looked good and checked all my electrical connections and vacuumm hoses but foudn nothign wrong. I was 20 minutes from home so I drove it home and It didn't overheat ot smoke or anything so I'm not sure what is wrong. I'm thinking maybe I got bad gas or something or an injector or spark plug wire went bad but I'm not sure. I'm going to do some serious diagnosing tomorrow but do any of you have any Idea what it might be?

maybe an injector oring wne and its leaking gas (smell) and causing the lack of power.... just an idea? -
Check your spark plugs, and your fuel lines, fuel filter and pump. Misfire? .... check your plugs and like he said wiring. Spark plug wiresComment

well the bad news is it was 2 park plugs that had gone bad...I dont know how they went bad but both of them had the center electrodes seperated from the center adn they where touching the contact which means no spark. The good nes is I bought new spark plugs and it runs fine so thats good. 8)Comment

Probably because the poor old engine isn't used to running tripple digits.
