Are there any tricks to dropping a gastank in an 87 325is I should know before i get started? I have gas leaking from somewhere near the front driverside on the gastank, I need to find the problem.

did you remove the back seat first and check the area between the fuel pump and tank?
i just got done fixing mine because it was pissing gas like crazy and that kept me from having to drop the tank. -
yeah, i looked there. It was dry. looks like whatever is leaking is doing it right on the front driverside of the tank.Originally posted by dmjones
pretty straight forward getting the tank out it seems like. i had to take the DS out to have it balanced anyways.Comment
