I'm looking at an '91 318i that I suspect may have been in an accident (one of the fenders is VIN less and the rocker panel isn't painted black like on the rest of the car). Before wasting $$$ on a accident history report I thought I'd ask about air bags on the M42 equipped E30s. Were they an option or standard? I figured if they were standard then a non-airbag wheel would be a good indicator of some accident repairs.

I should have searched maxbimmer (canadian forum) first. Sorry! Looks like they were indeed options on Canadian cars.
