    e30 325e or 318i??

I dont seem to be having any luck finding a clean 325i but I have found a nice 325e and a 318i. I'm fairly new to these cars and I'm wondering which of these would be best to start with if my goal is to make a fast e30.

Is one easier to do an engine swap, or is there a way to get decent power out of either of these engines.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!!

FYI - I build race engines so I'm no stranger to engines in general, just new to the e30.

Do you want really good cornering and decent power, or fairly good cornering and fairly good power? For phenomenal cornering get a 318i and turbo it. For okay cornering, but loads of torque and power read up here http://www.strictlyeta.net/

Personally, I would rather turbo the 318i
And an engine swap would probably be slightly easier in the e, assuming you are swapping for another I6

I NEED an '89 or '90 (no airbag) 325is or 325i coupe near Houston. Even a bronzit would be loved. Pm me :)

i thought throwing a turbo on a 318 is pointless?
