my 88 325e automatic just started to misfire. when idling it pops through the exhaust consistently like a pattern. i replaced plugs, cap, rotor, fuel filter, and airfilter all about 4000 miles ago, and also at the same tie put an i t.b. and intake manifold on it. what could cause this now?

I'm playing good cop and added a description to the secondary subject line, it's perfect, utilize it.
Compare the plugs in the bentley vs your misfiring plug, is it oily or just fouled?
Check valves, adjust if necessary, and check your plug wires. Get ready to cough up cash since they're a pretty decent penny for good ones (~180).
