Why is there always electrical tape around power window motors?

Just a general question as I'm curious, I notice that there is always black electrical tape wrapped around the power window motors. Is there a reason for this? I don't see it sealing holes or anything, so I'm not sure why almost all used/junkyard motors I see have this tape on it.

Well, I see it on motors on ebay as well, so it's not just my country. :D
