    Crossed leads => Blew Something...Help?

    I was removing my front strut brace for some suspension stuff when I did something dumb. I crossed the two 10mm nuts on the left side of the main battery power cable. It sparked... car wont fire. I ran a jumper from the right side and have power but, I will probably burn my car to the ground... Here are some shitty pics. Can anyone shed some light on what I blew? All the fuses in the box are intact.

    I am holding the jumper wire. The 10mm nut on the left was crossed with the one under it.

    A little MS Paint magic... or something.

    The smaller of the two wires from the battery powers the DME. That wire contains a fusible link near the battery that blew when you shorted the connection post to ground. A good fix is to splice the wire where the fusible link is and place a 60a lug type inline fuse at the power point in the engine bay.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

      I figured it was that easy... just didnt know where to find the fuse. Next time I will just use my battery disconnect switch and save the headache.

        I've learned to eliminate that fuse, especially on a track/race car as every one I've ever opening up has been heavily corroded.
