I did this on my 318i as the fan clutch had dyed. Just take some of that muffler hanger stuff autoparts stores, that has all the holes drilled in it, cut a small section and bolt down to the watter pump pulley, and then bolt the other end to one of the 4 bolts holdingt he blade to the clutch.
This will suck power and can possibly cuase your watter pump to go out, so not recomended for any long period of time, I ran this for 2 days untill a good replacement fan clutch came in.
