    Wierd cluster issue

I have never seen this one before. When you turn on the key the cluster gets power and all the lights go on. Start the car and everything works fine. Then you shut off the key and the engine stops but the cluster stays lit. If you pull fuse 10 then the lights go out. Put fuse 10 back in the lights do not come back on until the key is turned to the on position and then they stay on again when key is removed.

I know it is not the SI board as I swapped in a different cluster and it behaves the same way and I can reset the SI board. I am wondering if there is a relay that might have gone bad somewhere that would make this behave this way.

Also, the obc is not getting power. I don't know if this is related or not or because I have fuse 10 not in. I am still investigating that one!

OK I figured out what was wrong. The window circuit breaker switch while pushed in causes the problem. With the switch showing red the cluster and blower motor turn off with the ignition as they should. Time to get a new breaker switch or just eliminate it and put a blank in its place...I have never used the breaker switch anyway!

That suggests some problem with the wiring. If the car has an aftermarket audio system a bad installation would be the first suspect.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
