    clutch issue

Tried to search couldnt really pinpoint an answer, so i just bought a 318is, with 140 on the clock and it drives great. However i notice when i depress the clutch pedal all the way there is a grinding noise and clutch pedal almost vibrates until i let up a little on it.

I know you dont need to depress it all the way to engage, just struck me as something wrong, also if you barely touch the clutch pedal (only push it down maybe an inch) it vibrates pretty significantly.

    any ideas?

    thanks

That sounds like a dying throwout bearing of a dying pressure plate. At that mileage the car is probably about due for a new clutch anyway.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

what happens if it fails completely, i can deal with it for the time being, but after just buying it theres no way ill have enough money to change the clutch for at least a couple weeks
