Clicking sound coming from engine

When my car is running there is a clicking sound coming from the head. It seems the worst around 2000 rpms and the car bogs like shit....It will accellerate smooth then bog and this clicking will start. Any help for this and I will love you for it. Thanks. Btw engine is an m20.... all fluids are fine.

loose eccentric? Your description sucks to much to really make any accurate suggestions.

Well what else can i tell you...I've narrowed down to the exact spot of the clicking, it is coming from the piston nearest to driver. Could the piston be hitting the valves? All you have to do is tell me what you need to know and I'll tell you.

Pull the valve cover and look at all the rockers and make sure they are all intact. Adjust the valve lash while you're at it, may have a loose eccentric like jordan said.
