a/c thread sizes?

    a/c thread sizes?

    anyone know what size threads the a/c components have? condenser, drier, firewall connections?

    any help is appreciated!

    No, but I will soon find out, either here or later this week when i recharge my a/c. Are you recharging yours? if so are you going to puill a vac on it first? Has anyone done this? any a/c recharge DIY on here? that may answer 325's question too.

      i have to piece together my a/c before i can (re)charge it ;) need custom lines due to the engine bay being shaved...

      thats why i need to know thread sizes so i can order the correct fittings to match up to the condenser, drier, etc...

            you sure about that?

            i'm thinking they are 5/8-18 & 3/4-16... i haven't been able to find a/c parts with an fittings.

              The fittings are metric. Recycling the OE fittings will probably be the path of least resistance.

                The A/C fittings are SAE sizes. The only aspect that is metric is the wrench flats.
