Sport Seats do not lock in place???

I got a cabrio Recaro sport seats.. look great. only catch I found was that when i try to recline and decline.. it won't stay in place and it falls backwards with weight. How do I go about fixing these seats? I know I take the back cover off... but from then on what do I replace & how do i Do it? Please & Thanks!!!

You replace the little seat shocks that have LIFT-o-MAT written on them.
    Part #s, from another thread:

    Vertical Height:
    2 shocks, P/N 52-10-1-965-645, $38.95

    BACKREST SUPPORT SHOCK REPLACEMENT
    2 shocks, P/N 52-10-1-965-632, $38.95, 350N load rating (sport seat)

Is it as easy as removing the side cover and replacing them or is it more involved than that? i.e. are there a ton of other bits that are attached to it that need attending to as well

By hand its impossible.. I got a vice grip but it doesnt fit.. so I tried copper wires & tied it around. It compressed when twisted around.. then It was able to fit on a vice grip.. but either way.. im frustrated right now.. I need these seats in damnt!

I cheated and replaced mine with the seats 100% disassembled for recovering.

I put the whole thing in a vice and did it that way. Easy peezy...
